Avery Andersen Friend In Meteorology award

The Avery Andersen Friend in Meteorology Award goes to a graduating senior in the Iowa State University Meteorology program. The award celebrates the senior who exhibits enthusiasm for the field of meteorology and support to their fellow meteorology students. ISU AMS members in their sophomore and junior years will vote on the person they feel best exhibits these characteristics. The meteorology program awards committee will then determine the winner from the top vote getters based on the activity within the department, university, and their community. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award.
