Celebrating People who Go all In

AVERY'S INTERESTS KNEW NO BOUNDS, AND WE BELIEVE THAT MATTERS.

Avery knew you could be a person of faith and a scientist. He believed you could be a rabid sports fan and a devoted musician. He was well-rounded in his interests and we think that is important. Being inclusive was important to Avery and it is something we celebrate. Avery Andersen Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization that celebrates those people who approach life with the same joy and enthusiasm Avery brought to his interests and the love he shared with everyone around him. We seek to encourage students to participate and learn from the arts and sciences by dedicating themselves fully to these activities and by being an inspiration and encouraging those around them to go “all in” with everything they do. The foundation is led by an all-volunteer board. Nearly 100% of all donations are used to fund the scholarships and awards. A nominal fee is charged by our web hosting service for donations made by credit/debit card through the website. All other donations go directly to award recipients.

Soon after Avery's accident, Mr. Jarrod O'Donnell, the band director at Atlantic High School told us he wanted to have a song commissioned in Avery's memory. Steve and I were stunned. We were so thrilled that Avery had meant that much to "Mr. O". We were overwhelmed with gratitude when we were told the Atlantic Booster Club was going to pay to have the piece commissioned. No one can imagine what this means to us, but we are forever grateful.
