The Avery Andersen Foundation Beta Sigma Psi Spirit Award is a $1,000 scholarship given to a Beta Sigma Psi Epsilon chapter active member who displays the love for his brothers and enthusiasm for life that Avery displayed. The Avery Andersen Foundation Beta Sigma Psi Spirit Award is designed to celebrate active members who contribute to the fraternity with the same passion and enthusiasm.
Applicants will be referred to the foundation by Beta Sigma Psi Epsilon chapter officers. The criteria for selection include:1. An active member of Beta Sigma Psi2. Involvement in the fraternity3. Active in church activities4. Active in Iowa State activities5. Active throughout the community6. In good academic standing at Iowa State
